Royal Canin Sensitivity Control Diet has been specially developed to diagnose and treat food hypersensitivity. The hypersensitive reaction to food can cause both skin complaints and gastrointestinal problems. Sensitivity Control contains selected protein and carbohydrate sources. This reduces the likelihood of a hypersensitivity reaction.

A special combination of vitamins and zinc reduce water loss through the skin and improve its barrier function. Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA) help reduce skin reactions and have an anti-inflammatory effect. The combination of Fructo-Oligo-Saccharides (FOS) and zeolite (a specific mineral) supports balanced intestinal flora and helps protect the intestinal wall. Royal Canin Sensitivity Control also reduces the formation of struvite like calcium crystals in the urine. The food is gluten- and lactose-free and contains L-tyrosine for optimal coat pigmentation (intensive colour).
