TROVET Weight & Diabetic WRD Dog is low in calories and contains higher levels of dietary fibre. With a normal portion, these still provide good stomach filling as they stay in the stomach longer. Your dog therefore suffers less from a feeling of hunger and is less inclined to beg for food. This low-energy food is low in fat but still contains enough essential fatty acids. It also contains special slowly degradable carbohydrates in absorbable sugars, reducing glucose fluctuations in the blood. The diet stimulates intestinal function, preventing constipation. In addition, the indigestible fibres in the food would retain water and thus ensure well-formed, firm stools.
